Positions for student assistants (Hiwis) at the chair

As a supplement to lectures, the chair regularly offers tutorials supervised by student assistants. This concerns, for example, the lectures Signals and Systems I, Signals and Systems II or Digital Signal Processing. If you have completed the relevant examinations with a good or very good exam result, we look forward to receiving your application, which you should address to the tutors of the tutorials or tutorials. Furthermore, we offer student jobs for the supervision of the lab course Simulations-Tools in the winter term 2020/21. Further information can be found here.

Positions for scientific staff

Additionally, we are regularly looking for graduates of electrical engineering, electronics and information technology as well as related courses of study for the participation in our research projects with the possibility for the promotion. If you have an above-average degree, sound knowledge in the fields of signal processing and information technology and programming experience, we look forward to receiving your application. Positions for student assistants (Hiwis) at LMS Lab Course

We are currently looking for two tutors for the upcoming Lab Course in Image and Video Signal Processing on Embedded Systems (WS 2023). The labs include the setup of the Raspberry Pi, an introduction to Python and an introduction to image and video signal processing. In addition, a camera will be connected, signal processing will be done with the camera and digital filters are implemented. Moreover, the laboratory includes different computer vision applications like the creation of a panorama or background replacement. Further details about the labs can be found at the end of this post.

The lab with 9 sessions will run every Thursday from 2pm to 6pm, starting from 3rd November 2023 and concluding on 19th January 2024. Additionally, there will be a backup session on 24th January 2024. The tutor contract will span over 3.5 months, 8 hours per week (12-13€/hour).

As a tutor, your role will involve providing guidance, supervision to the students and facilitating their understanding of the lab content. Detailed scripts and solutions will be provided in advance, ensuring that you have ample time to familiarize yourself with the materials.
